Our physiotherapists have extensive post graduate training in a variety of treatment techniques including McKenzie Spinal treatments, Mulligan mobilizations, Advanced Manual therapy mobilization and manipulation, Soft tissue release techniques, Kinesiotaping, Watson Shoulder Assessment, Acupuncture, Running Biomechanics, and many more.

Peter Jordan, Staff Member

Peter Jordan, HBPE., BHSc(PT).

Peter is a physiotherapist and the clinic owner. He is a Lakehead University graduate of the Physical Education program prior to attending McMaster University for his Physiotherapy degree. Peter grew up in Thunder Bay, moved to southern ontario for a few years and returned in 2000 when he started his clinic at Lakehead University.

Peter has over 19 years of experience in treating a variety of orthopaedic conditions. He has had success treating a variety of clients including national level athletes, NHL to IP1 hockey players, competitive and recreational runners, and most other types of active individuals.

Peter has competed in cycling, skiing and running locally and internationally and enjoys working with athletes at all levels. He has a special interest in knee and shoulder injuries. He takes an active approach to rehabilitaion combining manual therapy and exercise in helping clients maximize their function.

Monique Cerisano, Staff Member

Monique Cerisano, Registered Massage Therapist.

Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Monique completed her B.A. in Sociology with French Minor at Lakehead University prior to graduating from the Massage Therapy program at Sir Sandford Fleming College in 2000. Monique launched her career in Ottawa where she soon became fascinated with advanced myofascial treatment while taking a Jenings Advanced Myofascial Release course in 2002, and having her old accumulated figure skating restrictions released. After returning to Thunder Bay in 2004, Monique completed the rest of the courses that Jenings had to offer, including the Master Series in 2012.

Monique has 20 years experience treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions associated with everyday stress, muscular overuse & injury, post-surgical scarring, and physical manifestations of pain syndromes. As well, Monique offers massage therapy as preventative care to be added to your sports training, injury prevention, and general wellness regime.

Kieran Hogg, Staff Member

Kieran Hogg, BSc(Kin), MSc (PT)

Kieran is a physiotherapist originally from the Niagara Region of Southern Ontario. He completed a Bachelors in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo before going on to completing a Masters of Physiotherapy at Queen’s University.

Kieran’s approach to rehabilitation involves active listening, education, exercise, and manual therapy to help his clients reach their personal physical goals. Kieran also has a special interest in vestibular rehabilitation, treating conditions like BPPV (vertigo) and other various conditions that cause dizziness.

Kieran’s special interests involve cycling, hiking, canoe tripping, spending time with family and friends, or just relaxing with a good book or movie.

Lisa Ostrum, Staff Member

Lisa Ostrum

Lisa is our full time office administrator at the clinic. She is responsible for all the front line tasks, her smiling face is the first on you’ll see upon arriving. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family at the lake, travelling with her husband and watching/playing sports.
